A2H Flagship Program: SPRING 2026
Normandy Visit June 3–7, 2026
The Normandy Leadership Program Junior | NLPJr
Program Overview
In three separate blocks, students first participate in live online workshops blending leadership and communications development (theory, training, experience) with WWII history. Once completed, they travel to Normandy for an immersive on-site experience rooted in the lessons of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.

In Normandy they come face to face with Veterans, survivors, and various officials that are committed to carrying history into the future. Students graduate with a certificate of completion from NLPJr & Arizona State University's Leadership, Diplomacy and National Security Lab along with a personalized leadership plan that they will bring back into their schools and communities – giving them the tools of honoring the past and shaping the future. The curriculum is developed alongside the Arizona State University's (ASU) Leadership, Diplomacy and National Security Lab.

Why Leadership Skills Matter for the Next Generation
The challenges facing tomorrow's leaders will be more complex, fast-moving, and interconnected than ever before. Academic knowledge alone will not prepare young people to meet these demands. They must also learn how to think critically, communicate clearly, act decisively, and lead others in the face of uncertainty based on strong values, ethical behavior and character.
Programmatic Outcomes
The Normandy Leadership Program is designed to build essential capabilities through experiential learning and historical insight. Students don't just study leadership — they practice it in real-world and high-pressure scenarios, learning how to:
Think Critically
Analyze situations from multiple perspectives, question assumptions, and make sound judgments.
Lead with Purpose
Inspire and guide teams toward shared goals while upholding ethical standards.
Navigate Complexity
Adapt to changing circumstances, solve problems creatively, and balance competing priorities.
Communicate Responsibility
Develop skills that allow them to responsibly share information and insights through multiple platforms.
